Σigma Wave USB audio isolator
The ideon Audio Σigma Wave: a high-End, full USB isolation and femto level re-timing platform
Unique, uber high-end design, dedicated for Audio.
The new Innovator Series is designed to introduce cutting-edge technologies that significantly enhance the value and performance of digital audio playback systems, unlocking their full potential and enriching the listening experience for those who primarily use digital systems.
Σigma Wave is one of the first devices in this new line.
The Σigma Wave USB Isolator, is a cutting-edge solution designed to effectively eliminate detrimental noise from the USB stream. Addressing issues caused by clocking signal leakage and digital circuit noise at the source, this innovative device ensures a cleaner, distortion-free analog signal by isolating and mitigating noise that typically infiltrates the return signal path (ground) of the DAC.
This is the first time in the audio industry that such an overengineered USB isolation design has been applied specifically for audio purposes.
Elevate your audio experience with the Σigma Wave USB Isolator, where purity and precision converge.
Almost unreal performance improvement.
Achieving a pitch-black background in music hinges on the complete elimination of digital noise, primarily through the digital power supply ground, which serves as the final signal ground. Our range of products—including Master Time, EOS Time, Absolute, and Absolute Time Signature — establish an optimal path for USB data transmission by re-generating, re-clocking, and re-driving the stream, minimizing distortion. Despite our rigorous efforts to minimize internal equipment noise using multiple ultra-low noise power supplies, it’s challenging to entirely eradicate the low-level noise inherent in the data stream’s generation at the source.
The Σigma Wave USB isolator.
To effectively eliminate these subtle yet impactful amounts of both electrical and digital noise and enhance final sound quality, further enhancing the results of the re-clocking function, innovative approaches were required. Leveraging one of the latest full USB signal isolation devices, combined with our uncompromising approach to quality, led to the creation of Σigma Wave.
State-of-the-art Design
Featuring a dedicated isolation circuit, Σigma Wave ensures complete isolation of both data lines, power, and ground lines from input to output. Additionally, a special femto clock in the output section addresses timing issues. Supported by a linear power supply with dual ultra-low noise regulators and carefully selected components, Σigma Wave delivers the cleanest, most pristine data stream at the output.

The outcome is Music, significantly improved and more engaging than ever before.
Application
The Σigma Wave USB isolator is designed to be positioned between the source (such as a PC or any streaming/server device) and the DAC using a USB cable. It effectively isolates both the data and ground lines, ensuring complete elimination of all types of noise. The cornerstone of optimal data transmission lies in having impeccably noise-free data (music signal) lines. This is precisely the purpose of the Σigma Wave USB isolator. By using this isolator, you create an optimal environment to take full advantage of the capabilities of subsequent Ideon Audio re-clocking devices in the chain.
